Iranian Brand Building Information [ver.1]
IBBI — the Iranian Brand Building Information project — was an early effort to put structured information about Iranian brands, branding practices and the people behind them into one organized place online. At a time when the local conversation about branding was scattered across magazines, agencies and academia, IBBI tried to give it a single, navigable home. In 2011, the team came to Webrokh in one of our earliest engagements. The brief was about making a serious-feeling website that respected its subject — brand-building isn't a casual topic, and the site needed to look like it had been put together by people who took it as seriously as the brands it talked about. With a small set of screens and a careful structure, it had to feel like a reference rather than a blog. Webrokh joined IBBI as its web design partner. We shaped a compact site that introduced the project, presented its content in a calm, considered layout, and gave it the kind of typographic seriousness the topic asked for. A small, early-years project, but one with a particular character we still appreciate.
